Success Stories

The young engineers of the Vattenfall Solar Team of Delft University in the Netherlands use the CANtouch at the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2019 to optimally design the CAN bus of their solar racer “Nuna X”. The measuring device will also be at hand on site in the Australian outback should problems arise. We keep our fingers crossed for a successful defence of the World Champion title!

Zimmer Maschinenbau GmbH from Klagenfurt in Austria uses the CANalarm for the commissioning of their digital printing machines for textile printing and coating machines. The simple monitoring of the bus load and the counting of any error frames allow conclusions to be drawn as to whether the bus is running as it should. This increases operational reliability.

At Palfinger in Lengau, Austria, a two-day CAN basic training course focused on the use of our diagnostic equipment in the final inspection and worldwide service. Fundamental problems with the construction of a bus system were discussed intensively with employees from development and service. Measurements were taken and evaluated on various systems.

The crane manufacturer already has more than 30 CAN-Bus Tester 2 and several CANtouch in worldwide use in development and service. During an on-site training in November 2016 at the main factory in Zweibrücken, the basics were deepened and the devices were introduced to a new level.

All other customers of our diagnostic devices also benefited from the suggestions of the training participants. Some ideas have already been implemented.

“I worked with the first version of the CAN-Bus Tester about 12 years ago and compared to this the CANtouch is of course a very positive further development. A handy rechargeable battery device is a particular advantage when servicing the systems. I also liked the possibility of the screenshot for documentation purposes, because it was practicable”.
